Patrick Alban started in music at the age of 10. Playing his acoustic guitar, when he was 12,Patrick won the 3rd Christian Festival in Guayanquil, Ecuador. Against some of the best Christian bands in the country, Patrick placed 1st and 5th with two of his original songs. By the age of 16,he moved to the United States. Orquesta La Leyenda, a traditional Latin big band, presents a return to “old school” Latin Dance music. It has its roots in the repertoire of the New York City Latin bands that thrived during those exciting times when America first became enthralled by small combos, by medium-sized conjuntos, or by big bands.
